So over the last couple of Blog posts, I think its fair to say that i am an advocate of Juicing vegetables. It is tasty, easy and soooooooooo beneficial for your health. Juicing vegetables is a great way to reward your body with nutrient dense vegetables, vitamins, minerals and powerful nutrients.
Many of my clients who first come to me, complain about feeling sluggish, tired, no energy, lack of sleep and often times they want to get into shape. One of the first things I recommend is a simple juice fast, and if you are in any doubt on the health front, “green” is where it’s at. Chlorophyll-rich plants use the energy from the sun and convert it into food energy. These vegetables contain an array of aminoacids, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and all of these are fantastic for alkalising your body and building the immune system.
The one thing everybody should be doing is eating or juicing more greens, now when you first start juicing greens, you might be confused on what greens to juice and how to get a good tasty juice. You don’t want the juice to be bitter or unbearable. For these reasons I came up with 7 cool tips for juicing greens.
1. Start with a Base
A base includes high water content vegetables like romaine lettuce, courgette, celery, or cucumber.
2. Add Leafy Greens
I love to add kale and spinach, the king and queen of green leafy veg to most of my juices.
3. Add Some Herbs
Add a handful of coriander, rosemary, parsley or basil to your juices.
A highly nutritious as well as delicious herb, Parsley is overflowing with essential nutrients and all their benefits. It is also a great detoxifier
4. Add a Little Zing
Ginger has great anti-inflammatory properties and useful digestive aid.
5. Add Lemon or Lime!
As well as being one of the most alkalizing fruits on the planet, the Lemon is a very good source of Vitamin C! This important vitamin has been shown to help support the immune system, as well as possibly enhancing iron absorption.
6. Add Some Fruit
Add a pear, some Pineapple or apple to sweeten it up! Pineapple is also fantastic for aiding digestion
7. Add A Super Human Bonus!
Of course you can just drink mattsupps matcha with hot water and get everything in one hit. But there is something really rewarding about making your own fresh juices and smoothies and coming up with different healthy concoctions when you have a little more time!
All juices and smoothies help in providing you body with a plethora of micro nutrients to drive cellular health, but these two Green juices help to cleanse the liver and digestive system, opening up the channels for detoxification, and taste absolutley fantatstic

Avocado is one of the worlds most complete foods, and therefore the best thing you can put in your body for health. The natural vitamin E and the master antioxidant glutathione in a base of avocado’s monounsaturated fat’s oleic acid are also recognized heart health boosters. The combination of avocado’s high potassium content, 30 percent more than banana, with omega-3 and oleic acid are beneficial toward reducing blood pressure. The master antioxidant glutathione supports the liver and the nervous system. It is responsible for replenishing and recycling other antioxidants in the body. It is vital for a strong immune system, and avocado is one of the few foods that contain a considerable amount of glutathione.
